Multisensory Participatory Installation as Safe Place
"Collaborating with Le Jardin Retrouvé, a French family Niche Haute Parfumerie House, has led me to developing an entire branch of my art, that can be implemented virtualy anywhere in the world."
Clara Feder
Creating a transformational space that empowers participants and make them feel whole, protected from the outside world and connected to themselves has been central to my research.
In such a space, they enter through a wardrobe and discover another world full of bird songs and poetry where they watch/smell/listen.
In the end, they spray themselves with perfume, write about their olfactory emotions - directly linked to our deep memories and post them on the Wall of Emotions.
